Created in 1985, the Saarländisches Künstlerhaus is an association that defines itself as a place where artists, authors, and musicians develop the program themselves based on their respective artistic perspectives.
Saarland is at the heart of the Greater Region. It thus requires that we look beyond borders and suggests that contemporary art in this cultural space must be in-depth approached. In addition to this cross-border exhibition programme, the institution organises many events such as readings, debate evenings, improvised music concerts...
The Saarländisches Künstlerhaus is also a publishing house, which publishes its exhibition catalogues as well as the TOPICANA book series.
Exchange of information, dialogue between different artists' generations, different forms of art and media, cultural transmission within the Greater Region is the program that the Saarländisches Künstlerhaus wants to present once again to the Luxembourg public Art Week 2020.
