Inaugurated in 2016 in the heart of the antique district in Marseille, Double V Gallery aims to be a unique exhibition space where art forms, generations, and various notoriety come together.
Its director Nicolas Veidig-Favarel offers another relationship between the gallery owner and the artist, more transversal, less vertical, guided by the emotion generated by the works which invite pleasure as well as debate.
He invites the collector to perceive the work as a living organism, bearer of meaning, with which he will be brought to life and makes the gallery a warm meeting place where the artist, the gallery owner, and the enlightened amateur come together in a single collective adventure.
Double V also claims its desire to become a place of dissemination for the international scene. The gallery pays particular attention to emerging artists including Caroline Denervaud, Brian De Graft, Ugo Schiavi, Manoela Medeiros, Côme Clérino, Maximilien Pellet, a.o., who always dialogue with more established figures such as Olivier Millagou, Michèle Sylvander, Gérard Traquandi, and are thus creating a fruitful dialogue between the generations.
