“A vocation is making a career out of one’s passion.”—Stendhal

Ironically for a doctor, I’ve made this quote my own.

Having always lived by the mantra of sharing my passion and making art accessible to as many people as possible, I created the city’s first mini contemporary art museums more than 10 years ago.

In 2020, I seized the opportunity to sell my medical testing laboratories to devote myself to the artists whose work I collect and champion by becoming their agent.

Our home initially served as a showcase for exhibitions by “my” artists, where discerning collectors and a novice audience quickly flocked.

In 2022, after sharing our home and our collection, the enthusiasm of the artists and collectors encouraged us to open the Au Cube gallery just a stone’s throw from our home as an extension of our house (open 7 days a week by appointment).

The guiding principle of the Au Cube gallery mirrors my collection… Passionate.

Influenced by advertising, pop culture, and the media, and fueled by my early love for comics, photography, figurative art, and minimal art (I’m a huge fan of the BMPT movement and François Morellet), the growth of my gallery today attests to the accuracy and relevance of my choices, which are now more than ever at the heart of the art world.

This deep-seated passion for supporting and discovering young artists through my collection, my enthusiasm, and my desire to share resonates today with the world’s leading international collections, which place their trust in Au Cube.

The Au Cube (O3) gallery is located in Mâcon (Burgundy, France).

Au Cube currently represents 19 artists—both established and emerging talents from France and abroad: Gioele Amaro, Léo Chesneau, Idir Davaine, Gaël Davrinche, Vincent Fournier, Louis Granet, Michael Harnish, Gaëtan Henrioux, Sarah Jérôme, Mathias Kiss, Kosta Kulundzic, Jochen Mühlenbrink, Eric Pougeau, Raphaël Renaud, Dina Roudman, Abel Tournissoux, Valentin van der Meulen, Kornel Zezula, and Gongmo Zhou.

Since its founding four years ago, the Au Cube gallery has made it its mission to discover and promote emerging talent.

Whether it’s Gioele Amaro, whose career I helped shape leading up to an exhibition at Sotheby’s and his acceptance into the prestigious Almine Rech gallery, or artists such as Léo Chesneau, Jochen Mühlenbrink, Idir Davaine, or Vincent Fournier—whose profiles I helped raise by featuring them on the daily show *En Aparté* on Canal+—I am committed to building lasting bridges between artists and major institutions.

I also successfully presented a solo exhibition by the figurative painter Abel Tournissoux at Art Brussels 2023, in the Discovery section, which led to his works being acquired by some of the most important private art collections in the United States and Belgium.

As the initiator and curator of Vincent Fournier’s “Uchronie” exhibition at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris in 2023—where he first presented his “Flora” series, which you can (re)discover this year at booth C05 in the fair’s Focus Photo section.

This year, you’ll also have the chance to reconnect with our one-of-a-kind Gaël Davrinche and see rare pieces by Jochen Mühlenbrink, whose career is taking off in London, New York, and Asia. I’m delighted to introduce you to two new gems: Michael Harnish, a California-based painter acclaimed by artists and collectors along the U.S. West Coast, and Raphaël Renaud, a French painter honored by the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, who has returned to France after a distinguished career in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

We look forward to introducing you to our new gems.
