Founded in 1999, Galerie F. Hessler has 4 exhibition rooms and a library room. The gallery specialises in different artistic movements from the second half of the 20th century. It notably exhibits artists from the Paris school, Informal art, another art, narrative figuration, and cobra, but also publishes catalogues of its exhibitions, such as l'aventure de Michel Tapié, l'art dans la captivité du feu, Gutai among others.

The gallery is also very present in the art market, makes expert appraisals, provides advice to collectors to accompany them to contemporary art. It also promotes artists who deserve a more visible place in art history.
