Located in Esch-sur-Alzette, in the south of Luxembourg near the French border, Konschthal Esch has quickly become a vibrant hub for contemporary art in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
Since opening its doors in 2021, this dynamic space—launched in the run-up to Esch2022, European Capital of Culture—has offered a bold and thought-provoking programme that engages with today’s most pressing artistic and societal issues.
Konschthal Esch showcases a rich mix of solo and thematic exhibitions, with a strong emphasis on original commissions, immersive scenography, and participatory engagement. Designed to be accessible to all, its inclusive mediation programme fosters dialogue and connection between artists and audiences.
To ensure its projects resonate beyond the walls of the gallery, Konschthal Esch collaborates with renowned publishers such as Sternberg Press, Hatje Cantz, and Walter Koenig to produce high-quality exhibition catalogues and artist editions—expanding both the reach and the legacy of its ambitious curatorial vision.
