With the kind support of Musée national d'archéologie, d'histoire et d'art (MNAHA)
In her sculptural practice, Alice Channer (b. 1977, UK) explores the shifting boundaries between the natural and the synthetic, the organic and the industrial. Using materials such as stainless steel and aluminium, she translates biological forms into monumental abstractions that seem to grow from the ground itself. These works, simultaneously rooted and futuristic, evoke the resilience and adaptability of living systems in an era of rapid change. By transforming familiar structures into unfamiliar presences, Channer invites us to reconsider our relationship with nature, matter, and scale.
