Ibero-American Geographies
Ibero-American Geographies brings together a constellat ion of leading voices from across the Ibero-American world, tracing the poetic, political, and sensory landscapes that define a shared cultural territory. The exhibition gathers major artists such as Isabel Muñoz (Spain), Joan Fontcuberta (Spain), Antonio Seguí (Argentina), Carlos Cruz-Diez (Venezuela), Dagoberto Rodríguez (Los Carpinteros. Cuba), Patrick Hamilton (Chile), Pedro Torres (Brazil), Osvaldo González (Cuba), Eduardo Hoffmann (Argentina), Laura Lis (Cuba), and Guillermo García Cruz (Uruguay).
Through photography, painting, installation, and sculpture, the exhibit ion reveals a dynamic map of artistic inquiries that explore identity, memory, migration, and the urban experience. Featuring new and previously unseen works, it offers fresh insight into each artist’s ongoing dialogue with the material and symbolic geographies of the Ibero-American world.
Far from a static notion of place, Ibero-American Geographies unfolds as an evolving landscape of connections — a cartography of sensibilities that bridges histories, aesthetics, and perspectives. Together, these artists propose new ways of navigating the territories of art and belonging in a global present.
