Rotondes

Rotondes is a one-of-a-kind venue consisting of two abandoned railway roundhouses. The cultural centre hosts events that range from performing to visual arts, as well as numerous conferences, group projects and workshops for all ages. Always scouting for new talent, Rotondes is targeting the youth, both as an audience and active participant, to the extent that, over the years, it has become an incubator for new ideas, strengthening the linkage between culture and education. Akin to its artistic endeavours, Rotondes is also a platform where important social issues are being tackled in a very practical way through workshops and/or affirmative action.

The main hall of Rotonde 1 hosts a series of plays for all ages. Next, you have a gallery space designed to welcome the works of emerging artists, but also big enough to contain indoor markets. Conferences, talks and film screenings take place in the so-called "Plateforme" area.

The Klub - our concert hall - is located inside Rotonde 2, only partly renovated. There you will also find our bar Buvette, serving organic food and beverages. Set between Rotonde 1 and Rotonde 2 is the Container City with its theatre for smaller audiences (Black Box), a working space (Studio 1), its share of rehearsing rooms (Studios 2-4) and the recording facilities of Radio Ara.
